All MEND programme participants can become volunteer ambassadors if they want to. Our ambassadors are called MEND Champions - they tell others about their experiences with MEND and beyond, inspiring them to live fitter, healthier and happier lives.

Who are MEND Champions?
MEND Champions are adults and kids who’ve made healthy changes and want to help other people get healthy too. Champions have usually been on  a MEND programme. If that sounds like you, join in! You can choose to spread the word in the way that suits you doing things independently, as a group or with your local MEND team.

Help people get healthy
As a Champion, you can inspire your friends, family, schoolmates, colleagues and wider community. With your energy and enthusiasm, you can share how simple changes can make a big difference.

What can Champions do?
Champions can do as much or as little as they like.

Some people want to simply pass on top tips to their family or wow friends over lunch with some 'did you know?' facts. Others want to use MEND resources to talk to a bigger audience, sharing an activity at school or helping out their local MEND team. It's up to you.

Where are the Champions?
MEND are running pilot Champion projects in specific areas across the UK for people who have completed MEND 7-13
